Activate your Account

  1. Activate Your Account

Check your uoregon.edu email account for an email titled Welcome to the Career Center's UO-JobLink System. This email contains your new password for UO-JobLink. If you experience difficulties activating your account, try typing in your password, rather than copying and pasting it in. Otherwise, please contact the Career Center for further assistance at 346-3235.  Note: Your UO-JobLink password is not the same as your UO email and blackboard password.

  2. Complete your Profile

Most of your information is already in the system as it is automatically uploaded from student records, but you will need to respond to a few questions:
    1. Expected graduation date (it's fine if this is tentative)
    2. Email preferences (we highly recommend you select Targeted Emails and Newsletters as you'll receive news of new job postings and internships related to your major). You can alter this preference at any time.
    3. Check the box that you agree to the policy stipulations for use of the system.

  3. Begin Search and/or Upload Resume for Review

After responding to the few profile questions, you will see a Documents page, which offers the option of uploading your resume. This is an optional service where you may receive a review of your resume by UO Career Counseling staff.

At this point, you may also opt to begin your search of the postings by clicking on the postings tab and searching either on-campus jobs (On Campus and Work-Study) or off-campus jobs (Postings for UO Students).

If you're interested in off-campus jobs and selected Postings for UO Students. We recommend using the Advanced Search option to filter through the database using your most important criteria, whether that be geographic location or job type or industry you wish to work in.

Tips for Using UO-JobLink

  • If you are unable to access the postings, it may be that your browser settings don't allow for pop-ups. In many browsers, you may be able to simply right click on the message below your tool bar to enable temporary pop-ups. >>learn more about disabling pop-up blockers

  • Keep yourself from getting booted from the system, by selecting the Back link within your UO-Joblink page, rather than the Back button on your toolbar.
