Career Development Internship Program - Deadline Extended!!

Still looking for summer credit? How about an internship through the Career Development Internship Program(CDIP)?

Application for the summer program has been extended to Friday, May 30, 2008. Students interested in enrolling in CDIP should stop by the Career Center, or contact the CDIP Program directly at (541) 346-6301 or by email at caccdip@uoregon.edu.

CDIP enables students to gain professional experience, develop skills, explore career fields, and contribute to the missions and goals of professional organizations, all while earning academic credit. CDIP engages students in truly rewarding internship experiences by having them take on new and challenging projects, document their career development in writing, and conduct career-related informational interviews.

Students apply to the program by completing a proposal form (cdip-proposalform.pdf). The form is reviewed by staff to ensure the internship provides an opportunity to apply what you have learned to a position related to your career plans and that adequate site supervision and mentoring are in place. Students must register for at least 3 credits which require a minimum of 90 hours per term (9 hours per week for 10 weeks).
